On what type of projects do you work?

With what publishing tools are you experienced and consider yourselves experts?

Do you have programmers among your staff?

We have extensive experience in working with programmers and developers to identify and extract information from specifications, requirements documents, and code samples.

How do you work remotely with projects?

We can work together to devise a plan addressing activities for working remotely, including tasks, completion dates, and delivery methods; a tentative calendar of on-site sessions; a summary of methods to maintain communication between your personnel and our remote location to ensure uninterrupted service; status reporting; project dependencies (such as equipment and personnel). Of course, we are also able and willing to travel for on-site sessions, as needed.

What are your rates?

Depending on the type of project, we can base our rates on an hourly schedule or a fixed rate quote. Let's discuss what works best for you and your company.

What is your preference to project length?

If the project involves a full-time commitment for either creating or updating a large document, we usually consider three months to be an appropriate average duration to make a significant contribution and provide the quality the project deserves. For smaller scale projects, we would determine the duration together.

Are you willing to travel?

Yes. We can discuss the frequency and duration of travel needed for each project.

Why use an independent, outsourced service like On the Same Page Technical Communications?

For special projects or overflow work, hiring an independent technical communications specialist service just makes good business sense. On a contract basis, you only pay for the time we work. Expenses that are normally incurred with a full-time permanent employee, such as benefits, office space, equipment, and training are nonexistent. Additionally, by hiring an outside contract professional, you can add invaluable expertise and fresh perspectives to your projects.
